We say goodbye to great fighters tonight. Both Race and Chuck were extremely talented muay thai fighters who started out as MW. Due to weight problems, Race moved up to LHW where he fought bigger opponents and often emerged victorious. Chuck stayed at MW and made an impressive name for himself at that weight, winning titles in 3 organizations and being a contender in a 4th. We'll miss you both. - Bad Guy MMA

Riding a 6 fight winning streak and within sight of winning his first world title, Muay Thai specialist Fred Russell has been advised by his doctors to call it quits after suffering nerve damage in his last fight. Rather than get hurt seriously, Fred has decided to comply with his doctor's wishes and cease active fighting, choosing to remain as a consultant and manager to other fighters in this camp. - Bad Guy MMA

Former LOTC LHW champion Morgan "shifty" Twitty has retired today. A skilled muay thai fighter, Morgan had many knockout victories but ad a really weak ground game that caused him to lose a great many bouts. Still, he reitred with a winning record and after a 2nd consecutive victory, decided to give up competeing professionally. He will be missed in the gym.
After suffering a 2nd round loss to the former LHW champion, Chase Williams, his fighting spirit was enough for Levka Yefimov, who took that championship from Chase to offer Morgan Twitty a chance at the title. Morgan finally lived up to his potential and captured gold by defeating Levka in the first round by high kick. Thanks to Levka for offering the fight and congrats to Morgan. We knew you could do it.
